Office Engineers

A Office Engineer in the construction industry is a highly skilled and technical job overseeing various aspects of complex construction projects. At Waner, Office Engineers report directly to the Project Manager and have a wide range of responsibilities; most notably project bid delivery, submittals and documentation.

At Waner Construction, the achievements of the organization are the results of the combined effort of each individual. Through the years our management and leadership posts have been filled from within the company. We believe the greatest opportunity for growth starts by providing opportunities to employees; allowing them to cultivate their career and shape our culture. Becoming an Office Engineer is the first step on that path.

Career Paths

We have a “grow from within” philosophy for our company staff. The majority of our employees begin their career with Waner Construction as Office Engineers immediately following their graduation from college. These same employees progress up the hierarchy to a Field Engineer or Estimator role, then Superintendent, and ultimately Project Manager. Through this progression, our employees embrace all aspects of the construction process to fully understand how to provide the highest level of service and support possible.
